The Land Before Time

I was reading on DNA cloning, damage and repair when I suddenly thought of dinosaurs. When I was very young, probably four or five, I watched this cartoon on dinosaurs at my uncle's house. The movie was so engaging and the story plot was so sad (and yet touching), it brought tears to my eyes. I felt really down aftr watching the cartoon, even after a week.

Many years on, I wanted to watch the cartoon again but I have no idea what the name of the cartoon was. I have no inkling idea whether it was a cartoon movie or part of a cartoon series. It was hard me to ask anyone what the title of the cartoon was when the only information I can provide is "it's a cartoon about dinosaurs".

After a long long search, I finally found out that the title of the cartoon movie is "The Land Before Time". I very badly want to watch it again. However, I have no idea where to find it. I did a quick search and found out that the movie was a 1988 production. Where am I to find a 22 year old cartoon movie? I highly doubt DVD shops will sell them.

I wonder if I will still have the same feelings and sentiments as I had if I were to watch the cartoon again. Hmms.
